For those of you who would like to know, I'll give a little background info on these bros. The O'Jays were a soul group from Canton, Ohio who had a severe case of the funky fever in the 60s and 70s. Their most popular song may be "Love Train" which topped the U.S. singles charts in 1973. On the other hand, Crosby, Stills and Nash constitute a folk rock group that is known for the anti-war and counterculture themes that linger throughout much of their music. Both bands have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

A fitting song for the LEGENDARY win today for the United States soccer team against Algeria. I personally was about to throw my TV out the window a short minute before Landon Donavon - the man, the myth, the legend himself - poked in a goal in the 91st minute to keep the good guys' World Cup dream alive. Chiddy Bang: Year in Review
It's safe to say that Chiddy Bang has blown up over the past year. The group consists of Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege and Noah Beresin, better known as Xaphoon Jones. The two met at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and began publishing their music on a MySpace account. Their popularity arose through grabbing the attention of the underground music-blog world. Let's be honest. White dude rapping = questionable. But somehow, with the help of some sick-nasty electric guitar riffs and some solid organ play, Macklemore was able to make "The Town" sound pretty good. The fact that this song is a tribute to his home town of Seattle, Washington makes it sound pretty meaningful too.
Kind of Gay, Kind of Chay Song of the Day: 6/21/10
Although it would be an absolute nightmare if you had your iPod shuffle hooked up at a party and this song came on, I think we all can admit that this song is chay as nuck. If I could play the guitar and sing as well as Duncan Sheik does in "Barely Breathing," I would sit outside of Starbucks all day serenading the girls that passed with my sweet sound and casually winking whenever eye contact was established.
