Classic Tunes of the Day: 7/31/10

Today's classics are comin' in hot from Bill Withers (picture above) and Rare Earth.

Bill Withers was born and raised in West Virginia. He sought out a music career in Los Angeles after discharging from the Navy in 1965. Rare Earth was an American rock band that prospered in 1970-72. Despite consisting of all-white members, they were able to find the funk.
